Südzucker Fine Sugar

Consistently sized fine crystals that dissolve easily and high Südzucker quality are the outstanding features of this general-purpose sugar. Not just for baking!
 
Südzucker Extra-fine Sugar

Because of its extremely fine, consistent grain size, this is one of our specialist sugars for fine pastries, very fine cakes, desserts and drinks. It dissolves extremely rapidly and can be mixed quickly.
 
Südzucker Household Sugar

Household sugar, i.e. refined sugar with a medium-coarse grain size, completes the household assortment.
 
Südzucker Icing Sugar

Refined sugar that is ground so fine that the crystals are no longer visible to the naked eye. Icing sugar dissolves quickly and is recommended for sponges and Christmas biscuits. And, of course, it is also useful for dusting desserts and soufflés and for glazes.
 
Südzucker Nibs Sugar

Refined sugar is moistened, pressed and broken into pearl-shaped pieces after drying. It is therefore sometimes called "pearl sugar". It is used to decorate biscuits, plaited buns, waffles, cakes and Christmas confectionery.
 
Südzucker Brown Sugar

It obtains its fine caramel taste from pleasant-tasting sugar syrups, which crystallise out into a golden brown sugar. Ideal for baking with nuts, almonds, chocolate and dried fruits as well as for muesli, soufflés, stewed fruit, fruit salads, spicy chutneys and many other purposes.

Südzucker Jam Sugar 1plus1

Jam sugar is sugar mixed with fruit pectin and citric acid. It makes tasty marmalades, jams and jellies that are perfectly sweet and keep for a long time without preservatives. Another advantage is its short cooking time (4 minutes). 1plus1 jam sugar sweetens and gels at the same time.
 
Südzucker Jam Sugar 2plus1

2plus1 jam sugar for fruit spreads is used in a ratio of 2:1, i.e. 2 parts of fruit are cooked with 1 part of sugar. In addition to sugar, fruit pectin and citric acid, it also contains sorbic acid as a preservative.
 
Südzucker Jam Sugar 3plus1

3plus1 jam sugar for fruit spreads contains, in addition to sugar, pectins and citric acid as gelling agents and sorbic acid as a preservative.
3plus1 jam sugar in a 500 g packet is used in a ratio of 3:1, i.e. three parts of fruit are cooked with one part of 3plus1 jam sugar.
 
Südzucker Fix & Fruchtig jam sugar

Preparing your favorite fruit spreads is much faster when you use Südzucker's new Fix & Fruchtig jam sugar. Just mix the jam sugar and the prepared fruit, purée it for 45 seconds using a hand-held blender, and you're done! No boiling required!

Fix & Fruchtig is the first jam sugar that can be used for making refrigerator jams. Use two parts fruit to one part sugar to make your jams especially fruity.

In addition to sugar, Fix & Fruchtig contains pectin, the acidifier citric acid, the calcium salt calcium citrate and the preservative calium sorbate. Fruit spreads made using Fix & Fruchtig can therefore be stored in the refrigerator for up to eight weeks.

Incidentally, fruit spreads made with Fix & Fruchtig can be stored longer if they are prepared in a microwave oven.
 
Diät Gelier Traum

The product "Diät Gelier Traum" is a new dietary jelly mix including Isomalt which is used in a ratio of 3:1 to make fruity and calorie reduced jams and jellies. The substitution of sugar by Isomalt makes the product "Diät Gelier Traum" unique. Isomalt is made from sugar beets and the human body metabolizes it considerably slower and to a lesser degree than conventional sugar. This leads to a lower increase of blood glucose and insulin level as compared to sugar. Due to this low glycemic effect, products containing Isomalt - such as "Diät Gelier Traum" - are in particular well suited for a diabetic diet.
 
Südzucker Preserving Sugar

Fruit can be preserved with Südzucker’s preserving sugar, which has evenly sized crystals that dissolve very slowly and therefore reduce the occurrence of foam.

To make sugar cubes and fancy shapes, sugar is moistened, pressed in moulds and then dried. Easy to measure out for hot drinks, such as coffee, tea and cocoa.
