Sugar beet pulp pellets (SBPP)

Our pelletised beet pulp is produced during sugar manufacturing from European, non-genetically modified sugar beet. Following sugar extraction, the desugared and pressed beet pulp is dried and processed into pellets. Depending on the product variant, the pellets are available with or without sugar molasses.

Our pelletised beet pulp is primarily used as a direct feed for horses, ewes, dairy goats, pigs, cattle, etc., or in the compound feed industry; however, it is also used as a culture medium, fertiliser or paper substrate in non-food sectors.

Our Sugar beet pulp pellets are a co-product of sugar production from sugar beets. They contain pectin, hemicellulose, and cellulose and are used in compound feed or direct feed for ruminants, pigs, and horses.
Compared to grain-based feed, the long-chain carbohydrates in our beet pulp are broken down slowly and continuously.

Practical Tip

Dried and molassed beet pulp should be stored clean and dry, at a relative humidity of max. 65 %. In proper storage conditions, our SBPP has no expiration date.

Our Sugar Beet Pulp Pellets (SBPP) are delivered and collected in bulk in full truck loads (25 tonnes). Smaller quantities are available from your local distributor.
