Südzucker’s Fondants, Icings & Glazings Portfolio
Südzucker has been producing fondant products for over 70 years. Over the years, the portfolio has constantly changed and expanded in line with market and consumer requirements. But the production processes have also changed in line with technological developments. Today, we produce our diverse fondant range at two locations in Germany and Belgium – from Classic Fondant to a wide range of fondant specialties such as our Close Wrap Icings, Fudge Icings, and Sugar-reduced Fondants.
In addition to our versatile portfolio, we also offer development and application support at our two development centres in Germany and Belgium. The development ranges from simple adjustments, such as changing the glucose content, to jointly developed customised fondant product solutions.
Within the application, we offer our customers the following services:
- Sample production under food hygiene conditions, e.g. new developments in finished samples
- Application training on the correct use of our fondant products
- Production support, e.g. when a new fondant is used
This experience gained over more than 7 decades in the manufacture of fondant products, as well as in the development and application of fondant and icing solutions, makes us our customers’ preferred partner for these versatile sugar specialties.
